The Delhi High Court passed an order Thursday instructing authorities to offer 2,000 rupees ($46) per cow -- an average Indian's monthly salary -- to rid the city of the traffic menace.
just thought you guys might enjoy some real-life bounty hunting news.

Wow that's a nice bountyin India. I just wouldn't trust the method of disposal. They are a nuisance tho.

No Disintegrations though.
Cows are considered Sacred beings in India, and as the article says, the cows are wanted alive, and unharmed.

Cows are actually only considered sacred in certain regions of India - typically the southern region. Cultures and local customs seem to vary greatly depending on what part of the country you're in. Jeez, I spent way too much time there....work sucks.
