Thread: Why KD doesn't stick

Im MBH/MSmuggler/with the rest in pistols. Here's my question. I engage an NPC mark and knock him down, he pops up like he has a spring in his a$$. I get KD by an NPC and I'm down for 20 - 30 seconds. Is KD supposed to break on attack, if so why am I lying there like a drunk prom queen taking damage? If you can continue to pound why is it that the NPC delivered KD lasts so much longer? I have an alt TKM/MSwords, same deal my KD doesn't last near what the NPC KD does?
BTW I'm full of Ruby Biel and I still stay down a long time.
Suggstions welcome

NPCs all seem to instantly hit their "recover from KD" button.. I hit mine the instant I see that I get KD so I am up instantly. The animation you have while standing doesnt mean you cant attack btw. I usually start shooting again before I am fully off the ground.

You're staying down 20 to 30 seconds? Are you using KD recovery? I usually am only down a second or two at most.
