So I take an NPC mission last night and drive to his hiding place on Lok. I get there and see its one of those bosses, 36K+ HAM. Now, I have dropped down to a CL78 because I have been re-arranging my skills so I was a little timid though I haven't had any problems. I use rifles and can't get at a distance because the mark is staning in a crater. I'm already doctor buffed, take some food, and get ready. My armor is Ubese 8100 energy and I have an Imp PSG that adds another 2200 energy protetion (well not really adds but you know what I mean). I start the attack and pull the NPC out of the crater. He starts shooting and I notice that I am not taking any damage! I mean nothing, my bar is not moving at all. So I stand the 30 meters from the NPC and take the long while and kill him. Never once did my health bar move. The loot was actually good. I got a skill tape, a mando intrframe, and a jar of bugs.
Now what's intersting is the 18K HAM NPC's have actually done damage. Maybe they were using kinetic weapons but I can't imagine they all do.

There is a bug where some marks only do like 30 damage per shot. I've had this happen to me twice.... I wish it would have been on 30K+ HAM targets.

It's odd, I've had some marks do so little damage that I regen faster then they can damage me, including bosses. I've also had level 81 normal marks that do a ton of damage. Just seems random.
Ahh, if it's bugged to where they have the attack skills of a low level NPC, that would explain things.

yeah my first 2 or 3 boss marks did like 15 damage per hit so I got wtfpwned the first normal boss i fought
Now i go in expecting the worst and i do fine

I've had this happen to me while fighting CL85 Nightsister Stalkers. Its pretty neat, but no idea what causes it.

Yeah had a 36K mark 2 weeks ago do like 70 points of dmg on me, I thought something was wrong. Normally they do like 500-600 damage through my armor if not kinetic, the 18K+ ones I don't need to food up for, they go down pretty easily. But I can still handle the gold chevron bosses without help, and no I don't have CM.

I found a whole spawn of black suns on dathomir who did20 damage

I went up 6 combat levels on level 36 Tusken Raiders who did no damage at all.

DJM do that, you will find one every now and then that barely hits for 150 points

This is likely to be a server issue. There's key locations spread throughout the galaxy where you can sit in an affected area and only get hit for 8 points of dmg from NPCs.
What will really blow your mind is when you step outside of the affected area and watch those 10 mobs which were hitting for 9 each jump to 300 each. Doh!
*edit: I've been accused of sploitz 'cs I have been seen soloing 10-15 NS at a time which were all level 85 elites.
