How are they defined? By the "elite" symbols?

As far as I know, yes.

You can get normal level marks then elite marks. Had one with 35k health.

The "elite" ones have white < > marks around their HAM bars.

The "Boss" ones have gold < > marks around them.

I've had NPC missions lately as high as CL84. I can't wait to get a BOSS mark at CL84.

Ive had some "Red" con marks pre-21 that where not Elite. I did have ONE "elite" (single white chevrons) last night befor the publish went out but no loot since it was before the changes. This one had 17k HAM.

the boss marks, are they there when I appear, or do they appear after I 1st killed my mission mark?

Hi there

Im a WS and Im making a FAQ about Weapon Enhancements and where to loot them.

Since last publish Ive tried to uncover if the new BH mark Enhancers drops from every mark or only some.

By chatting to BHs ingame I have come to the conclusion that these only drop from 30k Gold Targets, can any of you confirm or deny this before I put it in the FAQ?

Ive only ever got Advanced power cells and reenforced casings off 35k HAM double gold chevrons.

Sometimes I get CA's and AA's off single white chevrons.

However if you get a gold chevron mark, it does not guarantee a decent loot drop. These items are still relatively hard to get.

Ive hunted so many marks since last patch its not funy i have bag's full of slicing equipment ca's aa's and jar's upon jar's of bugs. Ive found that gold bar eiltes past 77 are overated and dnt drop anything the other's wouldnt drop infact in my eperiance ive gotten more form normal or silver bar elites than any ohter mark. Maybe it's just me maybe not. also after server restarts the loot is usualy better go figure

I have only ever looted the enhanced power cellsfrom doublegold chevron 30k+ marks, as for the reinforced casingsI cannot say asI have not looted any.
