Im a master bounty hunter, 4414 pistoleer, 0440 medic and 4000 combat medic.

I came across my first boss guy today and holy cow did he smoke me hard. I ended up dieing as i ran out of mind and couldnt heal anymore, meanwhile i had only managed to get him down to 27k health from 35k. he regens so fast i was keeping bleed and poison on him constantly and hitting him with eye shot to kepe his accuracy down, but he hits me so hard.

Is it becuase he was leve 82 and i was level 77?

i hear people can solo these boss marks easily, but i cant obviously, i have a decent scatter too 489 dps 1.31 speed 86 sac i dont run out of action unless i spam quick draw.

Im just wondering should i grind to master pistoleer before fighting these bosses or is there a combonation of foods and skills i should be using. i was eating air cake dodge food, taht ranged defense food, crispic, breath of heaven and booster blue.

was not buffed.

Can someone help please, should i change me template?

If all else fails, ask a guildie to come and help you by healing you. BUt sounds like you have a 5 lvl difference and they will eat you up. I would suggest getting your CL up more if anything .

The boss marks I have fought, loved to spam the spray shots. Stand next to a lair and you get plenty of help.

"When Sony and Lucas set out, we said, 'How can we do this and not make another EQ?' We didn't want it to be all about Luke, or combat, or lock our players into a class. So we created a system that would allow players to switch professions during the game, and there would be a lot of gameplay around making that change. If you want to go from architect to scout we've created a system to make that happen." - Julio Torres

Thanks for the advice guys, my friend is a bh too and maybe we can start healing eachother at marks, bosses are eating him up too.

I definately think i will get those 3 more levels, also went and bought som 8k energy armor now was using 6k, that should help a bit and got some power ups for +10% damage to help deal with the super fast regen they have.

Still if i am missing anything, let me know please. thanks.

At first I used an alt to heal me but I just came out with a better solution.

Group with a droid for extra DPS and use synthsteaks. You can keep the steak up for like 1mn30 and thats quite enough. Be sure to be far enough of your droid so it doesn't get damaged by boss AEs.

Another solution is to put yourself near mobs or lair so they help you when the boss uses AE. I particularly enjoyed Nightsister's help on Dathomir on this

I'm Master Pistoleer, BH 1444, CM 3004 and I have no problems with Boss marks at all. I'm CL 80. Get some good armor and a good weapon.

Remember prober food/drink before the fight.

I usually use long lasting stuff, like bofa treats, spiced tea, Blob candy and before fight if its a boss, crispic for extra acc. elshindru (extra ranged def.).

Also remember to have duel stances on and then apply the states you have at your dispossal and then just eat him up

If it gets tricky take some 'ruby biel for faster stim usage and maybe a booster blue for extra mind.

Good luck.

You might have gotten abad mark. Sometimes they do average damageand sometimesthey do a ton of damage. It's gone as low as 1 damage and as high as 600 damage for me, these are the boss marks.

It's just a roll of the dice, if you pull one that's incredibly strong dont waste your time and dont waste your guilds time asking for help. Just dump it and move on, because they are rarely like that.

If you have problems fighting these bosses on a consistent basis then you have a problem. Take a look at your profession and equipment if that's the case.

I agree it's most likely the level difference. When I was cl80 with mbh/mcm I got incapped once before realizing the bosses actually need tactics now *CHEERS*. Now that I want to go back to more damage I am running around cl 76-77 while changing my non-bh template and I can't quite kill them without outside heals. As for not wasting time, I don't know that it is a waste of time. I got more bosses today than ever (2).

Off the bosses and others I got 3 nice cas, all with crafting xp, 1 with ls acc, and 2 stacks of casings with max damage of 181 and 184. Prior to today I had several bh schems, 1 aa, 1 ca, and various ok stuff. Point being you never know when you have your good luck streak. I sat through multiple incaps and a death trying my best to kill the last boss until a guild mate was able to come heal me. Guess what.I got the ls ca off this boss so I might have missed it had I deleted and moved on.

Just my 2 cents

Good Luck!

Yes, that's true, but the boss could have easily also given you a delicate trigger assembly.

It's all random, so if you think of it logically it's best to drop the missions that take too long. If you're caught waiting on help everytime you run into a problem you're going to be falling behind. Doing 15 fastmissions in 3 hours is better then 6 missions in the same time even with an awesome drop.

That boss might have dropped a LS CAbut the person doing three times as many missions as you will eventually get that and much more. It's all about how efficiently you can do these missions is what I'm saying.

Sorry buddy but from reading the patch notes, only master BH's can get Boss missions.
