Well, as the title suggest...this is a story of my last two hunts.

Let me start out by stating that I rarely hunt jedi (record of: 2-2-1). I decided to start building my hunting gear up a month or so ago and have been loot hunting and suchto gain the funds. I am having my recon armor made, have array of different pistols (some with high DPS some with low Sac), and of course foods, pupsand plenty of CA and AA's to get max potential out of my template which is MBH/MP/Medic 0240 with the rest of my SP in Force Sensitive areas. Enough with the background, here are my last 2 hunts. Any suggestions on future, more efficient ways of hunting will be appreciated or any other info..thx

Hunt 1: This was awhile back..so the details might be alittle fuzzy. Pick up the mission in Kaadara and wait for "your mark is on Kash" prompt which is every BH's favorite thing to see. But to my suprise I see that my marks WP is in Theed. Either he was coming or going or just doing the "showing off" thing that happens a lot in Theed (at least on my server-Bria the one that refuses to stay online). So I send out a seeker, buff up, take my foods, get my game face on...and shoot to the SP. Needless to say, when I land I don't see any PvP going on and don't see my mark in the area. Then the seeker kicks in, 300m away. I pull the overhead up and see that he is in the cantina. I think to myself, nice..I can blend in. So I head to the cantina and notice him just standing there..no chat..no "LD" or "AFK" sign over his head. But I stand watch entertainer just minding my own business with him in my sight. A minute or two goes by and nothing. I can't take it anymore....I attack...I knock him down and proceed to do some good damage to him and he hasn't even brought out the glow stick. I incap him once, he gets up and heals himself (pulling out his LS) and I incap him again. DB meter takes forever it seems but he gets up right before the timer goes off...Critical shot is then administered to him and he gets it for the 3rd and final time. I expect some type of hate tell and such...since when I check the combat log..he swung at me one time and missed the whole bout. So, a few minutes later I get a tell and we talk for a few. It turns out he was having some ID work done and didn't realize that he was getting wacked until it was too late. Needless to say, I got my 1st kill and 225K in my wallet for it.

Hunt 2: This happened last night. I did NPC missions all afternoon getting some decent loot btw. I had about an hour before I was going to log and wanted to do something different. I picked up a 50K bounty and was pleasantly suprised that it was on Tat that my mark was. Being a rebel I pick up Imp missions and was very happy to see that my mark was in Bestine (hotspot for Imps on Bria to go overt). So I head to Bestine and start to watch my mark as she proceeds to run around the SP for 30min with no real agenda. She isn't overt, she doesn't go with the raiding party to AH..she just runs about the place not talking or doing anything...but running. I watch..and watch...and watch...she passes by me in the SP ticket terminals..she passes by me in the hallway...she passess by me at the bank/bazaar. But I wait...she doesn't duel anyone or use any force at all...just runs around. 5-7 seekers later..she is still running around the SP area. Rebels invade Bestine and still while others fight..she runs around the SP. My buffs are almost running out....less than 2min left and I have almost just as much time on my foods..so I decide to either make my move or just log. So I start to head to the SP and she isn't moving at all...I am thinking that I missed my oportunity and she is "LD". But when I reach her..she is standing in the corner of the SP motionless...I target her and start hitting her hard...saber comes out but no attack..Flawless victory!! So, instead of waiting for a tell..I'll shoot her one. Start the conversation and find out that her computer crashed and she was logging back on, by the time she loaded..she was a corpse.

Am I just getting lucky or is this just looking for the right time and finding it to get the kill easy?

FYI: My two losses were when I would just try to run and gun the jedi..since then I have grown to be patient when hunting rabbits
