Thread: Template Recommendations for npc Hunting?

Anyone have anything special that they use against their npc marks?

Almost anything would work. Just be sure to have some good healing ability.


CH - use pets as a dot. Just make sure you keep your pets behind your NPC. Make extra credits on the side by selling and training mounts.


Carbineer - good damage output with a great snare skill. Good PVP


Rifles - great damage output plus the conceal ability is neato.


Pistoleer - Make sure you get a pistol with the lowest sac possible and use a sac pup on it.


Swordsman - armor break your NPC then whip out the scatter pistol (sac pup'd) and make quick work of that health bar. You will need some healing BE clothing to make up for the lack of healing power.


Commando - some nice animations with the flamethrower...that's about it with commando though. BE clothing for healing a must.


Combat medic - awsome dots if you use enhancers. The dots work fine without the enhancers also.


edit: Smuggler - use the FD if the NPC is kicking your butt. BE clothing for healing is a must with this one also.

I am MBH, MRM, and CM4xxx. I love it for hunting down npcs, killing krayts, Gorax, Acklay, etc. It has great versatility in PvE since it allows you to deal out massive damage via the rifle, and also act as a group support since you can range heal others in your group.


It's also a wicked PvP template, but not the "easiest" one to use for PvP effectively

30k not including loot


Loot: 2k - 20mil

i use my pet with agression to take ALL the agro from me when i kill mobs, just keep em healed, and you can fire away with specials all day long, and as long as they are trained in agression, will hold the agro. Nothing like taking a Boss LVL mark without getting touched once. Missions pay in the 30ks

no, since you have about a 100% success rate with NPC bounties, plus there's a chance of getting loot worth millions.

Sold a CA for 26 mil, recently, and have seen plenty of others go for 1-4 mil. Not to mention looting your own weapon enhancers that are better than krayt tissues.
