Thread: Healing your droids is an exploit? comment from DE

As it is right now you can use bacta spray or any heal to heal you combat droids.
I have heard many Jedi call this an exploit. As a DE I would have to disagree.
As it is right now droids are getting classified as pets (this is why their armor drops after storing)
If a droid is a "pet" healing it is not an exploit as you can heal your pets.
As it is now the the system is regarding them as pets, as such it is not an exploit to heal them.
If it is a bug that they are pets... then droids will be able to retain their 7000-10000 armor and as such would not need to be healed with 2 auto repairs and the occasional repair kit.
So as I see it (since SOE is so great about giving answers to questions like these) Droids are either pets... or they are not.
As of now they are pets and are taking knocks on their abilities by being classified as pets, so treating them as such is not an exploit.
If they were not being classified as pets.... then this ability would be a exploit... but as it is now they are.. and I have heard nothing about whether this is the way it is supposed to be or not from a dev.
