Thread: the one i messed up cuz i'm stupid lol
I turned the music off, because it was annoying. I pay attention to the flashing logo on the upper left.... it's what works for me.
I've only ever seen new contacts on my radar from 200-250 MAX or less. Not that is incoming, but once they cross that 200-250m threashold and "pop-up" on my radar and leave that area, they are trackable and targetable for up to about 700-800M. If I spoke a Jedi because I got to close on an approach, I will make like I was going to grind on a lair or something, finish up and drive out to about 1500m from the Jedi. This way I can lose the radar signature and try again.
Are you saying that you closed to targeting range, did /ex on him, then went to 500m and /cover'd?
You can get the Jedi's name when you land on the planet with the seeker droid. This will also give you the Jedi's location at the time of the identification. Then you can move closer and launcn a seeker set to track the Jedi when you get near the wp. About 200-250 is what I do, and I NEVER get "caught" sneaking up. I will /cover and crawl the rest of the distance into rifle range. Then at 65m you can /tar JEDINAME, if you want to /ex them.
If they are grinding and leave for another spawn, let them leave the 250m thershold and then get on your bike and repeat the process.
