From a roleplaying perspective, it's pretty sweet. Get a mission, sneak up on your target, steal the loot, assassinate him and collect your payout.

I'd say it depends on the skill mods and weapon prereqs.

yeah the weapon regs and combat skills will play a big role in my switching to ranger, but being a bh ranger with all the new toys they are getting is what i thought bh should have been in the beginning anyway. if it turns out to be a really nice jedi killing template, expect it to get nerfed somehow once the jedi start crying lol

Agreed.

I'm very curious though. Ranger/BH from a roleplay perspective sounds pretty sweet if it all pans out well in the numbers. It's not worth gimping myself over though, if it's not a viable combat alternative.

Ding Ding, if any of you read Tank's post about it you saw my thoughts on the possibility of Ranger/MBH. I don't forsee Ranger getting all the speed/acc mods some say it will, but I do see them getting all those cool skills to use and traps and such. But because of that lack of speed/acc, I just don't think it will be as efficient of a Jedi hunting template. Dabbling in it however may prove to be awesome, only time will tell.

I saw that they're leaning towards carbineer. I was hoping it would be rifles but I think that's a distant third behind carbines and pistols tbh.

Well one nice thing about MC and MBH is impspray shot alternated with full auto area. If you have a decent low sac carb you can tear up some dumb melee mobs. There's one pull|kill for me of even con creatures generated via a mission. I did it with a average carbine with decent sac:

Besides I love having an over 1k damageKD. Carbineer for life

I might dabble Ranger if I decide not to keep Squad Leader dabbling.

So you know, your sig says "Bounter Hunter". If that's how you wanted it cool, just never seen that before.

My worst skill is proofreading, and I changed my sig a few times messing with color schemes, structure, quotes etc. Guess I should use bright red.
