Now about 6 months before the CU I decided that I would try my hand at getting some BH Armor. I went about 3 days strait - killing, and getting good at it, in an attempt to loot BH Armor. My first drop was actually a Jetpack base which I sold- and then I kept up on killing Blacksun on a daily basis for a very long time (I would hit yavin at least once a day - some days not even able to find a spawn) until the CU hit and I had other priorities (such as adapting and helping my guild members with adjusting as well). I did however loot a total of 2 Jetpack bases, a full suit (minus the left bracer) of BH armor and 9 spare pieces (doubles) which I sold 4 of. I now wear my BH Helmet all the time - and am proud of my accomplishment as anyone who knows me knows that I worked my butt off to get it.
Am am just wondering, if anyone else who - like me - worked for their suit of BH armor, is feeling just a little bit jipped that our armor will have crap stats, cannot be colored, and is soon to be replaced by the NPC Mission Loot BH Armor FOTM? I'm not saying that it's not good that the loot on NPC missions had been changed - but seriously there are alot of bigger issues that need fixing for BH, and making a rare armor something as rare as Jedi isn't what I would call a fix. Or atleast let the holders of pre-CU looted BH armor able to turn it into a schem...

I to slaughtered a bunch of BS to get the BH armor pre CU and though I sold all off but the helmet, I thought that is sucked that the stats sucked so much. But I'm glad they're bringing them into loot, this way I can get a better one, (Though I hear that only the scheme is droped, which will take some doing to get an AS to craft it for you.) One thing I like though is that only BHs can get them since they're from BH mission npcs. At least the Devs did something right there, though some flawless pearls would be nice to temp jedi with. hehe.

Yeah, as these people said your pre-CU suit is still extremely valuable, as the crafted stuff can't ever be made into Mandalorian and the drop rate on the loot stuff is pretty abysmal since the CU. Convert it to non-wearable component armor and be glad you have it.

I think thats good news, but... having spent countless(and I mean that literaly) hours looting my two full suits of BH armor, I'm gonna be majorly PO'd if pre-CU BH armor isnt given some kind of conversion option to these new BH armor schems(or what have you) like it was to thecurrent BH armorthat could only be used in the crafting of Mando. I want to have some BH armor with good stats w/out having to do that insane lootfest again or spend my money to buy other people's loots. I've done the work already, as have lots of other people, so the Devs need to make sure they give us a chance to convert our existing BH armor to the schems or whatever it is, that AS's will make to craft the new BH armor(which will have color options too!).

Why would you want to convert the pre-cu BH armor ? I wear my all the time, since its one of the few things that separate me from other BHs running around. If you convert it you can no longer wear it.

I wouldn't convert it to a mando component unless I was actually going to be turning it into a mando piece of armor. I wear mine around all the time, what I (and others) are asking is that we can turn it into the new BH Armor Schematic and have the opportunity to get it crafted into the colors we want with good stats. I don't really see why we shouldn't.

I converted mine cos someone told me the option to convert was for a few weeks only ![]()
Since then I havent been able to wear my armour so I am sooo happy that this has come along - now I can wear my BH armour again.
