Thread: NPC Missions a challenge?

two days after pub20 hit live i logged in and tried a npc mission in hope to find a challengeing mark.... tracked the npc down on dathomir with a hell of a lot red dots surrounding ( NS Slaves and some grey con mobs creatures that didnt care about their grey con and attacked me anyway 
) and found the mark con yellow ( level 81 ) with a surprising 7k health. hardly a challenge...... and in fact the mark went down within a few secs wihout a chance even to scratch me.... i took around 100 points of dmg in total ( just my crap composite armor eqipped ).

now i red on the forums a few threads about boss marks that drop nice loot ( got nothin of these missions, but i also did just this two yet, just need to go on i bet 
) , but wot are these boss mobs? id guess stuff with 1 or 2 levels above mine counts at least as a challenge, further levels above me is a boss imo.....

SecondNPC markI found was level 83 and, again, 7k health.... got hit hard this time ( around300+ through armor andduelist stance )and had to heal up twice before the fight was over.... was still a fast fightbecause of the low health....

Bueno, I think I corrected most of the errors, but there are still many things that I can't correct due to not knowing what the author was intending to say. One person cannot possibly correct everything especially when there are multiple errors in each sentence. I just don't get why people purposely do not attempt to spell or write English correctly. It's not that hard and it makes it so much easier for everyone to understand you.

Publish 20 = Live servers: Removed names from terminals, only showing online Jedi, faction on terms, couple other things.
Publish 21 = Test Center: NPC bounty missions with boss mobs / loot.

well, nice u foundnd the time to convert all my written "sh1t" into correct english , tho ive to admit i learned to write and spell english correctly one day a longer time ago and i normally did a good work with it..... my memories on this "school" english is still fine but as im a bad typer ( in german we say "two finger search system" ) and also the english/american ppl type this way IG and forum, why shouldnt i? typing all stuff small spares the shift key and typing like "spelling" makes it still understandable by everyone..... id guess u had no problem to understand wot i said too, didnt u

i know the publish notes..... but i guess u also found that mission npcs levels are drastically increased alrdy.... as they were mostly level 30-50 pre pub they are now level 79-83 for master missions.
im not sure if the stuff i red about the loot and difficult kill during missions ( level 81 with high health ) is from TC experiences or live servers.... maybe should ask there, but maybe some reader of this thread may share his/her experiences from live server bounties

Ok first of all I dont think everyone is sure about what you are asking. Are you playing on live or test center? Are you asking about the new loot?
If so then I just wanted you to know that the loot hasnt hit live yet. It's still in TC. If that answers the question you had.

As I said above - the loot is part of publish 21.

In publish 20 they changed the levels of marksto be more consistent with the level of the mission. This resulted in some higher level marks like lvl 83's and such, plus the occasional elite mark.
In publish 21 they added a nice loot table to the marks, tightened down the range of level (most I've seen yet is lvl 82), and added chance for elite (around 20k health)and boss marks (up to 35k health). The mission payout did not increase. These marks will come from missions that payout up to 31k. Publish 21 is only on TC at the moment. Look in the other threads about the loot that has been dropping.
