well, it was a little cute. since the gank squads will be more of a coincidence not a regular feature in the game and no more bottome feeding, alot of upper padawans, knights, gaurdians, and masters do not fear the bh anymore. Its a simple fact that now alot of jedi are in houses that you can walk right in if u are bh and fight. alot of us are looking forward to matching you in battle to the death because we know the chances of more than one showing up will be rare. this last patch was the first thing to go the jedi's way in two months and you have to remember that we had alot of frustrations over that period. you are seeing that frustration released and publicly addressed to you. we have seen friends quit, get ganked, loose tons of xp due to roll backs and we finally got a bone from soe and we are chewing on it till they take it away.
No offense, but this post was not intended for Jedi to respond to, but devs. I understand the points that you have made, but the fact that a Jedi can stand in the middle of Coronet and do this without repercussion is a problem for those of us that believe in the original timeline and statements about Jedi in this game.
A Jedi was supposed to be rare, and hunted. Their lives full of danger. Not anymore I guess.

What is it with all of you timeline people?
when the game started, it was at a point of the game where the "TIMELINE" started. it was where there were no jedi, and there was not any mounts or vehicles, etc...
if the time line was set, oh let's say,episode I time, there would major complaints from everyone about how Darth Vader is not in the game or "Where are the storm Troopers? This is not star wars." So the game was started in the time fram where it would fit the best in the cannon of Starwars. Since then many additions have been implimented. ROTW, Jedi, races, a prof or two.
History progresses forward, period. We make the world of SWG and its continuing growth. SO why would there not be Jedi in the game? Again, does time not advance? are we to stay boxed in the first two months of the game forever? if that were so, then there would not be a lot of Jedi, and everyone would be bragging about how Uber their CDEF rifle is.
We can not stay in june of 2003 forever. We can not stop time from advancing at all. It all starts somewhere and goes forward. so we have to make the adaptation to whatever comes. Some dont like it, some do. But still its part of the game.
So this "we are supposed to be where jedi are rare" garbage makes no sense what so ever.

What's theproblem? It wasn't an insult or dis, telling you to enjoy the love while it lasts.The Devs will mess you over next time around. Nothing good lasts in this game, they've proven that many times over. I say yay that you got a bone.
And as far as that bone goes If you don't want it toss it my way.
