Can you convert factions points into BH xp with smuggler skills?

Study this a minimum of TWICE in it's entirety BEFORE you post

you CAN NOT do this

really this is the 3rd or 4th thread on this...just for this week

I started a thread on this a week or 2 ago.

The problem is that the stickied FAQ says that you can. It does have some stuff that is clearly out of date so I posted to ask if you could still get the invest xp with faction points.

The FAQ needs updated, that´s all.

you can still convert most XP on a 1/1 ratio, but I don't think you could ever do it for BH xp

Exactly. And not being a BH ora smuggler, or participating in this forums on a regular basis, I am apoligize if I have offeneded your post making sensibilities. But when the people say one thing and the FAQ says another,then you gots to ask for clerification.

A buddy of mine has opted for the BH route and, as expected, is having a tough time with his BH xp. Now, I've heard that base takedown procedure's yield some pretty sweet BH xp but alas this is a route I've never taken and don't know much about it. Any help would be appreciated.

Here's how I did it:

- Unequiped items, stored them in my house.

- Type /find imp(or reb) for waypoint

- If it's a foward base I heard toward the WP, if it's anything else I usually run the opposite way and try for a foward base(although you will usually find foward bases near medical centers also).

- If the base has turrets I leave again and look for another, if it doesnt have turrets I run inside.

- Make a macro for /tar uplink and head for the uplink

- Head toward uplink and try to jam it, you wont be able to because you'll be in combat. But the moment you incap you will be able to jam the uplink for 1k bounty xp.

- After this shuttle to opposite corners of the map to repeat. Probably have to jump planets after 3 or 4, after that it's a pain to find them.

Everyone says this is faster but I dont really see much of a difference. Trying to find foward bases and running to them takes almost asmuch time as doing two missions from the terminal, imo. And the terminals pay credits to boot. Maybe it's just the perception of getting 1k xp over 451 xp or whatever it was. But then if you get lucky sometimes you can hit 3 or 4 bases ina short period...
