I also saw that new rifle thats coming out with the expansion. 600-1200 something damage unsliced.
I play this game to have fun and not have a bunch of frustratingcrappy"nerfage" thrown at my proffesion every publish.
still havent seen a working link on that rifle, anyone?

If this was to happen a year ago I would agree with you, but SOE has and will continue to do dumb things, and i personally believe that this rifle or something similiar will be realesed and be givin on an easy quest.
To all future angry people who will flame me I just want you to know i am whining. Between the upcoming (could change)FR and cloak nerfs my template lost 2 of its greatest features. I am Master powers btw not a dabbler.

the frog proton carbine is dmg caped, 45 cold damageand only has 79 SAC but the quest proton carbine requires 8% dmg slice to reach caped dmg, 90 cold damageand has 85 SAC.
the live version of that rifle for all we know might end up with 120 SAC, 5sec speed, and do only 300-1000dmg.
you need to rember in beta that frog buffs and weapons are better than live. makes testing the quest faster and easier when you can live longer and do more damage faster.
