Thread: FS skills ... are they worth it ?
Forgot to mention :
I could drop some CM skills instead of the Pistol skills, but that would lower my CL to about 78. Not sure if that is a good idea or not ...
forget about FS skills then, just get some average CA's.
Not even sure if the speed mods work anyway.
1. speed mods are currently broken for everyone
2. You SHOULD defininately become FS.... just so you can trade in your xp... but you don't neccesarily have to TRAIN anything, just unlock it.
3. Even if you never train a single skill, you can do quests for some nice rewards.
4. Even if you don't want to be a jedi now..... maybe in the future you will want to be (my story) and you will be happy you have unlocked FS and been trading in FS xp. Or maybe you can give the account to a friend (or sell it) to someone that does want to be a jedi, after you get tired of the game.
5. Generally you should NOT train FS boxes unless you have room left over in your template. If you are MBH / MCM / Pist 0004 I believe you have 1 point left over. So, consider getting one box of ranged acc or something like that. (Each box is only 1 sp, Nov boxes don't count)
6. It used to be a huge bonus to be able to have FS stuff Pre-CU cause they different proffessions didn't help each other as much as they do now. That's why they don't look so attractive anymore.
7. Keep this in mind, you can unlock trees, you can even get the xp to train them.... but you don't have to spend a single SP until you want to. In fact, you could NEVER spend a single SP to train a single FS box untill you have enough XP save to train 6 trees of your choosing, in order to be a Jedi. Once you have all the XP banked up.... train 24 boxes of FS, then later that day, hit the trail to becoming jedi.
8. No matter what your plans, keep your options open by becoming force sensitive. You never have to train a box if you don't want.

Also I have three skill points to spare, so why not put them into Melee Def.

Their is no cap on FS xp..also MBH/MCM 0004 pistol has 4 skill points left. so you can get yourself +12 general ranged speed if you wanted.
