Ok, just jpicked up this game again and working to MBH, MCM and ???? (probably rifles or carbs) and wondering what type of armor guns and other equiptment to get. Also how many droids of each kind should i get? thank you

There are some stickies at the top that cover this..... but briefly....
I would recommend you aquire some high energy resist recon armor. Something over 7000, preferably 8000+ Also aquire yourself some nice energy resist PSGs.
As far as weapons go, this is entierly up to you. A MBH can use a Proton Carbine which can be modded up nice for hunting, High Cap Scatters and/or FWG5s are nice for pistols, and a good Adavnced Laser Rifle is also something nice to have.
When looking for weapons, your looking for a high minimum damage, low sac, and low speed, generally.

also get your armor sliced for armor break. full slice is 75%, if a jedi hits you with armor break and has a good saber he could hit you for up to 1200 dmg a pop.

The advice from the last post would be most beneficial when your template was finished and you were ready for PVP. For a BH you will need a pistol, carbine and rifle. Stick with the kinetic weapons like FFWG5 pistol, Tusken Rifle or Trando Hunters Rifle, not too sure about the carbine. Whatever your current CL allows really.For armor, your template let you use battle armor and assault armor. Get a nice assault armor suit with 8K kinetic resists (composite, chitin, bounty hunter armor, or factional assault armor), and maybe a RIS suit for pvp try and get the most energy resists on it? should look like 6K resists down the line or something. Look on vendors for the Bio-Engineer clothing, using this clothes you can cap the following stats if you plan the clothes well: ranged defence, terrain negotiation, Augmentation eff, mask scent,maybe some healing effeciency if your lucky?
For droids buy a case of Arakyd Probe droids and Seeker droids, also might want to get a surgical droid so you can group with him to help with heals and the group XP bonus, will need a case of droid batteries also.
Do you know how to perform a galaxy wide vendor search? Go to a bazaar terminal, click vendor search. Then click Galaxy Wide. And get familiar with the categories and how they are setup. Find an item right click it and make a waypoint, then travel to the planet activate the WP and go get your stuff. Learning how to use the vendor properly lets you acquire good equipment quickly and easily and cheaply!
