Thread: Best Way to Get Novice BH Combat Exp?

Currently, I am on my way to a Novice Bounty Hunter...only problem is....I am having a hard time getting a lot of COmbat Exp to reach it. I was told using C12 Grenades on nests and stuff during missions is a good way. Any other pointers?

By the time you grind your weapons ex, you should have your Combat XP. Don't worry about. Enjoy playing the game.

AOE gorups seem to be the FOTM grind.

Most of the time, I didn't even need to try for combat XP. If I remember right, the branches requiring combat XP filled up at about the same rate as the other branches on the same level combined. Definitely use rifles, pistols, and carbines to get the XP because you'll need weapon-specific XP once you hit novice and you get both weapon XP and combat XP if you use those. You also might consider sacrificing some of your XP now and fill up some of the weapon-specific lines under marksman since it's easily regrinded and if you can get up to a higher CL, you also have a higher XP cap. You can drop the extra lines later.

Well Grinding Xp like normal is a good way..or if u wanna have that little Push C-12's are good as well

You have to do the Combat XP grind again to get Master. When I re-did it recently, I did a group that was hunting Krayts, and a Dantooine grind group - only using the c12 grenades. The c12s give you 100% of the XP as Combat, but they do so little damage that you can take forever killing a grey. Any group with room can get you the XP you need fairly quickly.


You could try using faction points to buy combat xp, but I havent tried that in a long time so it might not even be possible anymore. Even if it was, that takes forever. The grenades seem to be the fastest way.
