I did some light testing today with a Master Defender, and something seems off somewhere.
Combat Logs:
*Real names not used*
You attack Fred with Torso Shot using Proton Carbine and hit for 261 points. (206 points of energy damage and 55 points of cold damage) Fred's armor absorbed 640 out of 940 possible points of damage.
As you can see, the log shows his armor was blocking around 72-73% of the damage. Which is clearly over the cap of 60%.
Neither of us had any states, and he did not have any force enhancements active.
I also tested how much damage I was taking:
Fred attack you with Improved Saber Head Hit using Force Sentinel and hits for 954 points. (892 points of energy damage and62 points of heat damage) Your armor absorbed 113 out of1067 possible points of damage.
My armor is 5000 energy, and he had already hit me with armor break. Am I wrong, oris armor break not supposed toreduce your armor effectiveness this much?
Any input is welcome.

I was thinking, this may be because my damage was migitated further by accuracy/defense. I was under the impression that this happens before armor is taken into account.
Any thoughts?

From what I've seen, the massive decrease in protection from armor break is probably intended. May be time to try out swordmen bh for the armorbreak. Anyone have any exp with that post patch 19?

Food? Force Armour?
No, neither of us had eaten any food or had any defences active.
