Ok, here is my proposal to end group hunting and targetting specific jedi but still doesnt bork the bh profession, and it has a little content added to it.

Alright, you go to the terminal and it lists jedi missions and their faction, no price-no name. you click on an imperial mission because your imperial bounty hunter, You then proceed to the informant:

The Informant tells you that they person you need to talk to is darth vader, or could be the emperor, an notable imperial officer, it could be jabba the hutt, or borvo the hut, could be nym, or it could be valarian. But in this case, the informant tells u that the client is darth vader at the emperors retreat on naboo.

Ok, you ride back to the retreat or u fly in, gonna take asome time. you talk to Vader, vader then tells you that the name of the rebel jedi and how much he is worth. Vader askes you if u accept this mission or you decline. Declining a mission doesnt not count against you.

Ok, you accept the mission, and vader gives tells you where to get the bio sig or he gives it to you. you got the sig so you launch your probe and at this point the bounty hunter mission goes on as normal.

If your abort the mission while the jedi is online, or you are killed by the jedi, you get a point or points against you. You can abort a jedi mission if thejedi goes offlineand you wont get a point(s) agaisnt you.

If you receive 10 negative marks you get a bounty on your head issued by the person that gave you the 11th mission that you failed. If a bounty hunter kills you, then you lose 10 points on your bounty hunter rating. You can be offered by the person you failed to pay them off and then the bounty is removed, but this would be alot of credits, i think 200k to 500k range to get off the boards as a BH would be suffient. I love to pay off Jabba if i messed up. Adds content.

If you defeat the jedi, then you get a point(s) in your favor. The more points you accumalate, you can at a certain level get a high level bounty hunter quest (NPC) that gives you a nice item as a reward.

Paddys are worth 1 point, but u lose2 points if they kill you or you abort.

Knights are worth2 points but u lose 1 point if they kill you or if you abort.

I think this eliminates targeting specific jedi or grouping. If you get a mission on someone and its your friend, or its someone that you know would kill you with their 1800 damage saber throw in two consecutive hits, its nice to know so you can decline the mission.

Something i was thinking about while i am on strike as a bh, what do you think.

This system wont work with the new pub 20 changes. Since we dont get the name up front we cant tell if the person we are hunting is a friend or guild member. I say you can abot the mission and it wouldnt count against you but if you were killed then that would count against you. People should be able to quit for the above reason or several others at that.
