Thread: Cutting My Teeth
With all that having been said, does anyone know of a good way to learn PvP skills outside of Padawan missions? I've considered the GCW, but I realize that GCW in reality stands for The Jedi Wars. Alternatively, is there a completely awesome BH on Bloodfin that is not only awesome enough skill-wise but nice enough to take me under his/her wing for a bit? I did read the FAQ's, and those seem concerned with teaching people new to the BH profession what it's all about. Something else I have in mind that this board needs to improve the general respec/new MBH skill level is a Mastering Master Bounty Hunter guide (much like the one seen in the Armorsmith forum, except relating to BH's). Would anyone be willing to take up the burden of an in-depth discussion of tactics for anti-Jedi warfare?

I don't get it. Why bother dropping the mission when you get to the waypoint and discover that it's a full template knight? You spent all that time tracking him down. You don't lose anything if you lose anyways. Why not give it your best shot and try it out. Or is your ego too delicate to suffer a loss to a player who has a template that is innately more powerful than your template. Where is the shame is losing to a character who is supposed to beat you?
The best way to "cut your teeth" is to jump in the water and just swim. (Ooh, love the mixed metaphors). Learn from your failures instead of giving up before you even try.

yea i bet you wouldnt be saying this crap if Jedi and BH were on par with each other. It takes a truly skilled pvper to kill a skilled full template. if both people are decent at pvp the jedi will always win. Its all about the 1.5 thing which is total BS, its the reason everyone is a Jedi. Once you max out, grinding on kash or whatever, you become the best character in the game, forever. Well, until a nerf happens. have you even seen this in any other online game? A single best profession?

Then again...I guess you don't really HAVE to be in game witht he AFK macro running. Leaves you a lot of time for the BH forums I suppose.
