Thread: Identify target bug?

I and several other MBH I know have had difficulty with using a seeker droid to identify a PC mark.
I'll send out the seeker to identify the mark and it'll give me 1 wp update, and say it lost track of my target.
I'm careful not to send out another seeker droid until the previous one has lost the target, so I don't think I'm causing any problems there. And it's not b/c the mark has left the planet either. And of course I'm not using droids on kash 
Is this a recognized bug, or is there an inherent chance of failure identifying PC marks?
If it is a bug, does anyone know a quick-fix way to get around this?

you have to be 1k or closer for this to work... which (IMO) is pretty **modbot**..... cause you will end up launching a "Tracking" seeker until you get to your target... then you have to wait for it to run out, just so you can use the "identify" seeker to get the name so you can finish your macros.
