Thread: MBH/Mcarbs... now what?
I was thinking of dropping Pistols completely and going 4000 CM. My only question is will the extra healing efficiency be worth the lostt of stopping shot adn all the extra defence? I do a lot of PvE as well and use stopping shot heavily on Krayts/Gorax and the like.
I am MBH/MCarbs/CM4000 and it rules. The only Jedi to really give me a challenge are those with uber Pre-CU sabers. I can kill or make most run. It goes beyond the template though. You gotta have the right equipment/foods/drinks/spice.
I have 75% Armor Break sliced armor that is 6k resists. (Upgrading to 7k RIS soon). I have a 2k+ PSG. I have a 1000 max damage adked Carb as well as a 600ish damage Nym's Slugthrower for the kinetic damage. (I switch to this if my energy carb is not damaging the Jedi if he has a PSG). I have 1100 heal stims with Ruby Bliel to cut down on heal time. I drink Spiced Tea and Mando Wine, eat Blob Candy, Teltier Noodles and Kwiwik Swirl, keep Synthsteak handy for a few hits while I regen, and pop Booster Blue. I also have 5 health buff crystals for 2k buff. When locked and loaded, I have like 5700 health.
I hit the Jedi when they are in the middle of something like grinding, dueling or pvping if I can. I have a bomb droid ready.
Overall, I love this template. On another server I have MBH/MCM/Carbs0400 which is fun too, but I don't feel like I am damaging them much, just outlasting them.
And I have a Jedi Knight, so I know both sides, but I dislike Jedi now that they have proliferated, so BH is much more fun these days.
I went the 4xxx CM/MBH/Mcarbs route. I used to be MM/MBH/MC/3xxx Rifleman, you lose some accuracy when you switch to CM, but it's minimal. I haven't died on an NPC mission since switching over (even with elites). I bought a probot with med module in it, and I can heal for a pretty good chunk with Adv. Bacta Spary or Bacta Shot.
With that much healing ability, I don't really have to worry about keeping them rooted, if i take a couple hits, I just bacta shot. Just run a macro to remind you when you can KD and spam critical, and leg shot back to back. You'll wear them out before they know what hits them.
I rarely hunt Jedi, so I can't offer as much advice as some of the Mega PvP'ers but I can assure you CM is essential for NPC missions.
