I know what you mean, I've lost 6 friends who were beta testing ToOW. They were all old-time Jedi, who have told me that (4 of the 6 anyway) are going to be Ebayed. Considering that 2 of the 4 have near perfect sabers and no xp debt (haven't played since dbl xp was turned off) they figure they'll sell nicely.
Sad thing is that a couple of them are the people who convinced me to play 
They were along the lines of what's the point if you're not even allowed to really defend yourself...

SOE and it's developers have done a terrible job with this game and I don't think there's anything in the mmo that compare to the horrible mistakes and incompotence in issues fixes to mechanis in the game play and updating hardware issues (bria).
I had fun with it for about 10 months. Too bad SOE has no intent to fix anything in this game since fixing their broken content does not yield an instant return in thier eyes.
The marketing monkies have ruined the game and the greedy corporate entity has fallen on its face.

Oh no, no, no......please, please don't leave us....what will we do without your constant whining to add to the cacophony of moaning already spilling out of the Jedi population. How will we live without your brilliant wit...who can forget that most brilliant line "I pwned you BH loser n00b...". Shame you cant find much to do in the game maybe in a years time I will be bored, and if so it will still be one of the most played games Ive ever owned. and one of the best ways Ive spent a few quid. I cant say theres many games Ive ever got into that I expected to keep me hooked for 2 years. But yeah when I get bored I will quit.
But all good things must come to an end.
