got a mark on kashyyk, scoured the instances finding them, get down there, and he is ready and willing to fight.

the problem, it seems, is i was outdamaging everyone down while shooting at my mark. using no area attacks, i consistently agroed 3-5 wookies and spiders while my mark remained completely free of agroes.

The jedi and his group were nice, and tried to take the agros from me, as soon as they were dispatched, and we started fighting again, i would get agroes.

Now, I can understand the 'threat system' for groups fighting npc's, but when it is a bh<->jedi fight, the npc's should care less about the damage dealt, especially when there are still players there killing their friends. if anything, i was helping the wookies, killing (well, trying to) the jedi that were slaughtering their kind, and they should agro the jedi and his group.

can we get some clarification as to whether my assumptions about the cause of the agroes is correct? i need to know so i can adjust my tactics accordingly.

(btw, i eventually gave the db to the jedi...basically 3-6 on 1, i had no chance, and refused to drag it out any longer)

PLEASE NO FLAMES - THIS IS INTENDED TO BE A CONSTRUCTIVE POST.
