I use a selection of weapons depending on the situation. Speaking at least for myself as a MBH/MC/4xxxCM - I look at every stat. IMO there is a ying and yang relationship to them all. All my refrences for what I look for are also based for PvP situations, not PvE.

If I'm looking for a great weapon I plan to ADK or not power up (lasts MUCH longer) - SAC must be below 80, speed around 2.0, max dmg around 1k. The E11MkII I just had made is 2.1spd, 1028 max dmg, 75 SAC and no pup. IMO very ideal weapon. I can sustain my DPS for a long time before I run out of action, and with max being over 1k, it hits hard.

Now for weapons I don't plan on puting enhancements into and generally rip them apart from alot of use and P-ups, the selection can be a little different. The gun can fire slower (2.8ish) and have a higher dmg, decent SAC (85-90) and get away with tossing speed p-ups on it. Same goes for guns that fire at a decent rate (2.4ish), have good dmg, decent sac (85ish) can go either way, spd p-up for really fast fires but at the sacrifice of not being able to sustain it, dmg p-up to save some action bar but help on those big hits, or a -SAC pup to be able to fire it all day and not run out of action.

Few things I have noticed - After youre mod'd speed on guns, IMO it is ideal to be as close to 1.0 as possible w/out going under, as it generates little benifit. This comes from playing with a carb I had that I could fire off at .67 spd. There is however a noticable difference between fire rates on a 1.5 vs 1.0. I look at it like this -

SAC is important, it dictates how long you can sustain good damage.

Max damage is important, it dictates what dmg is done

Speed is semi-important, it dictates how fast we fire and cooldown - however out of the 3 main stats here, it is the only one that can be overcome somewhat by the players skills/template and/or AA/CA's.

I have enoughaccuracy between skills and foods IMO

No one cares about wounds

DPS is figured by the spd and dmg, for quick cross comparisons it is an 'Ok' quick check, but by no means gives the full story of the weapon

I use - E11 mkII, HC scater, Elite Carbine, Czerka dart (used 100dmg, -.4spd gorax bones, turned out nice w/78 sac no pup), FeatherW.FWG5 pistol - can be a sweet weapon when enhanced, Advan. Laser Rifle - Even as a Non-RM, it hits hard, fires at a decent rate, and can hit at long distances

Hope this helps you a little

I am a rifleman and I like High Damage (not DPS) and Low SAC. Speed means nothing if you alternate attacks.

speed actualy does make special attacks recover faster, but im in the low SAC/high dmg crowd also.

I agree that damage and SAC are the prime stats. And that which one depends on playing style.

I use carbines, and i find that i'm pretty happy with the damage I deal, the BH shots are particularly good for this

(critical and leg shot). In combat I almost always deal a lot of damage, and then run out of action, and the fight

slows down dramatically after that...

But, my playstyle means that I would still prefer higher damage. I use the action downtime to heal up. i don't think

that changing the SAC from 105 to 75 will make enough difference that I can kill before I run low on action...

(from my experience of weapons with differing SAC, anyway).

Therefore the Dart Cabine doesn't deal enough damage for me. I have a fairly good one, but don't use it so much.

I use an E11 MkII, are they craftable (mine was an E11 pre-CU)?

I think you will probably have to cap SAC on half a batch, and damage on the other half, and adjust according to

how they sell... it's such a personal choice.

It's very difficult to cap more than 1 stat on any weapon, so I'm looking for what's most important to you. What do you look for when shopping for a weapon?

i personally think max damage and sac are the two most important. in terms of weapons i'd say that the adv laser rifle will probably sell the best of the three you listed due to the fact that you only need to be cl 54 or something to use it and the others require bh(i'm pretty sure)

edit: ok i read the beginning now and i'd say you should try to max out damage first, then sac. also i noticed you want to specialize in bh weapons, but my original response stands. most bhs currently have rifleman so making adv lasers is still your best bet to make the most money in my opinion at least.

well, let's see.

I would say that the fastest, highest damaging weapon would be preferred for a blitz playstyle.

and the highest damaging, lowestSAC weapon would be preferred for a "wear them down" playstyle.

Any pistol that has over 900 max damage

Around 2.0 or less speed

85 or less SAC

I would spend millions.

I would guess that depends a lot on playing style. I am a Rifleman and I'm they cover-crawl-alphastrike type. For me it would mean max damage is most important. If I can't get the Jedis HAM down to 1/3 thus forcing him to spend a heal before he even reaches me I am toast as I have no medic whatsoever.

Inormally just alternate head-critical with an occasional default attack or two between. Again, this is me other hunters like drawn out battles so I guss SAC would be the biggest factor to them. I feeel that post-CU speed ona weapon has become less important although not entirely unimportant.

We really needed to give people the experience of being Han Solo or Luke Skywalker rather than being Uncle Owen, the moisture farmer. We wanted more instant gratification: kill, get treasure, repeat. We needed to give people more of an option to be part of what they have seen in the movies rather than something they had created themselves."
