Good ideas all round, but SOE will not give smugglars any worth wild content...you can make spice and you have the potental to slice weapons if you can loot the products from high end cretures you cant kill...be happy with that and pray they dont bend overyour proffesion over again...I be afraid if SOE said it was going to revamp my proffession

In pub 20, the names of jedi will no longer be given to bounty hunters. Since smugglers should specialize in the underworld, they would make wonderful name informants. Here's a thought I had.
That, or have the seeker droid give you the jedi's name once on the same planet.
From an RP standpoint, the seeker could get an image capture of the jedi's face and compare it to the known logs of jedi stolen from the enclaves. It would give smugglers a role too, allowing them to update the BH terms in player cities to provide names or selling jedi names lists weekly to BH's for X credits. Or, possibly have the smuggler "De-code" the anonymous names by slicing the BH term for his/her group mates to show the real jedi names. This would have a limited time frame. about 5-10 mins, and would only work for BHs in the smugglers group. Possibly place teh term slice at master smuggler, and listings in the underworld tree.
Basically, there would a smuggler tab at the BH terms (to save devs from making another terminal, we know how lazy they are). From there, the smuggler would draw missions to "steal" the jedi name list from a quest NPC. Thiis could be like the Crys of Alderaan disks, where 4 or so would give complete set listings. It also adds immersion to the BH and smuggler system, as well as giving Smugglers another income source.
We, as the BH, would buy the info from smugglers for a certain price. This gives us a way to get our names, it gives the smugglers some immersion, the Roleplayers are happy, and we can still kill our chosen jedi.
So, what do y'all think??
