Thread: Help for the PvP Inept.

I have been a BH since January of this year but just completed the investigation box last week and finally got master. In that time I have managed to kill a couple of lower level marks but when I try to deal with 115-150k missions I can last for a min or two then im usually incappeed city banned and DB'd ( Ususally in that order). How can I become better at PvP?

Well you need to go MBH Mrifle 4000 cm and no other template except maybe MBH MCM 0004 pistol because once pub 20 hits you'll be fighting 225k+ 3 out of 4 times.....you'll be praying for a 150k

Actually that is the template I have, didnt find out untill recently it was as popular as it is, I just got it so i could use my covert retaliation effectively, and be able to heal

I think it depends on what skills your marks know. You may just be running into a streak of bad luck. I had one jedi that was only 94k on the terms. I got to him and he was CL73 and a MasterTKA. Since I was only CL66 he kicked my but. He never once even used a single jedi skill in the fight. He was a very good pvper. I am just pointing out that they may only show 115k on the terms but they may be a very experienced pistoleer or TKA or whatever. So those other skills they have can make up for their lack of jedi skills. Lots of jedi do this to help themselves defensivly to prevent BH attacks.
Of course I just had a 156k mark that was only CL37. I think he was pure jedi and had no other combat related skills and that was why he was only 37. Kinda felt bad to kill him but since its about 3:45am right now and he was one of the few marks that were actually online, I took him down.
My best advice. Make sure you have some sort of skill that can throw them off balance with. IE a KD skill or Stopping Shot or something along those lines. Also ensure that you have a powerfull offensive weapon and skill that you can use to do the bulk of your damage. You should take down a mark pretty quickly then. Ex: I try to start with a snipershot and then KD them. After that I try to throw in a HS or two. That usually incaps them once. The rest depends on if they run, fight or whatever. Having some healing abilities never hurts either since some jedi will fight back. Also if they are a much higher CL than you, then you may want to rethink the mark. Of course you can do like me and still go for it anyway!
