im kinda new to the bh thing and it seems like after every jedi bounty i attack, they always say "i saw you from a mile away" and already knew i was coming after them. so i am just looking for some tips from you guys on how to remain hidden right before you attack your jedi. i want the element of surprize on my side.
1.) if you're a rifleman sneak up under cover
2.)pray they don't use the duel exploit
After publish 20, they wont have any idea you're coming unless you get the mission and then run right at them with guns blazing as soon as you jump off your speeder. Theres no way for them to know, because you won't know either until you get there. No longer will there be the /tells "Hey ...can we group to hunt?" or "Hey, I have a nice premium pearl here ..wanna buy it?" or even the blunt, "I've got your mission ..where are you?"
Get the mission, ride out to your mark and don't stop ..just drive by and check out what he/she is doing, who he/she is with, etc. You have 3 days to get the job done ..its not like you have to do it as soon as you find him/her.
The main threethings that give bounty hunters away:
1. Sending a /tell when you dont know the Jedi and he/she doesnt know you. Nothing you can say will make a Jedi worth his/her pixels tell you where he/she is or give away any vital info.
2. Riding up within sight to Jedi with your Bounty Hunter tag up, full armor, and a weapon in hand. Alternately, even without the tag - most Jedi will be set to go anytime a non-group/guild member rides up looking "prepared" - especially if they are the opposite faction.
3. Acting suspiciously. Hanging out in an area you have no apparent reason to be in and doing nothing but being there. Preparing for the coming fight out in the open, within sight of the Jedi.
Hang out within sight if you want, but don't make it obvious. Don't wear your bounty hunter title, don't stand there and stare - find some reason to be there that makes sense. Do NOT communicate with the Jedi unless he/she speaks to you.
Then ...wait in the wings for the best moment possible. When the Jedi is engaged in a fight, afk out in the open (just plain stupid), or whatever the case may be. Make sure you're fully prepared and go for it... but do so with speed being the essence. Inflict as much damage as you can, as quickly as you can. However, if the fight looks like it is going to last - pace yourself.
