I wrote this in another thread, but not sure of how many would see it so new post for it.

To defeat these marks.

Use a PSG, bodyshot and specials constantly.

They only use energy damage at range so keep them there and you will go from taking 4-500 pts to approximately 1-200.
Rotate your PSGs, just keep enough action for a KD Recovery and you will take down the mark in approx 5mins tops.

You dont even need buffs..
I use Vasarian brandy. Thats it, and maybe a synthsteak if I have to.
My template is MBH, Mrifles, Pistol 0003, and Medic 0020.
Even with as little medic as that is, these marks arent a problem. Just a little timesink..

I asked the question in the other post, and was curious what you meant by "rotate your PSG." Are you suggesting you can swap out your psg in the middle of a fight?

are you talking about the 35k boss marks?

unless they changed it, you can not equip armor/psg while in combat.

boss marks hit for ALOT more then 200/400

i had a boss pull out a FWG5 on my ass. it was no fun. i won pretty easily, but the fact that they are immune to snare is no fun.

in general a PSG and food buffs + duelist stance WILL mitigate their damage to 400-500. some will hit harder but then u just have to heal more. A pet droid helps ALOT. i have never lost to any NPC mission.

I cheat on the 30k ones by using my alt doc doing the heals next to me

This statement is false. While it seems that mostly use Energy attacks there's also a good chance they will pull out a Kinetic weapon. This will completely bypass your PSG and I take it you're using Energy armor so you'll be suffering some major damage. Also as previously mentioned you can't change PSGS during a battle.

sounds like a lot of work to me

all i need is 80m arms, root, knockdown and snare, tossed in with crit, body and sniper shot. no healer prof at all.
