The slave collar was my first huge dissapointment with SWG. I looted one of these things from something (Tusken raider?) during the first few weeks of playing the game. I was kinda thrilled at first 'cs my first thought was to go ahead and "rollplay" an escaped slave.

Yep, total junk that should be removed from the loot tables or creat proper feature for clipping and have it as a wearable item.
