This is a tale of hope for those that immediately drop the missions of full template jedi, believing it is not worth the effort:

I get my mission, yada, yada, yada.... he is in Coronet. I shuttle in and he is right outside the starport. I am a bit discouraged as I see that he is displaying his Jedi knight title. I figure that this will most likely not be an easy mark to take down: pre-cu saber + months of grinding his jedi + plenty of PVP practice in the FRS = tough mark (IMHO).

So I decide to take a seat outside of the starport just to see what he is up to. I notice that he is a Special Forcesrebel (I am imperial on leave). Ok, I think, that is good to know. He runs off, into the city (most likely in the direction of the cantina) andI let him go. I am sitting there for about 10 or 15 minutes tracking him I see that he is still within a few hundred meters of me. No rush I think. I will stay right where I am.

I am sitting there in the starportwhen I hear these sweet, sweet words: "All overt imperials gather here."

I look over and I see 10 SF imperials outside the startport. They start running in the direction of my mark's waypoint. I think "great, my meal ticket has arrived!" I follow the group and they engage a group of SF rebels containing mymark right outside the city. I watch, as my mark isnt taking much damage at all. Finally, my mark engages with another jedi and his health starts going down fairly rapidly. Now I decide to jump in and deliver the shots that will take him out.

Underhand shot, Adv. Crit.... target incaped. Woo hoo!

HERE IS MY WARNING!!!!: If you are going to engage in this type of ambush,it might be wise to let your fellow faction members know what you are doing....

because I didnt let them know, and I was 1 second too late on the DB!!! The SF imperialdelivered it just before me. No credit, no money for me, only Janga points

Oh well, just thought I would share my story showing how I could have taken out this jedi with relative ease, but failed due to a lack of communitcation. Next time I wont make the same mistake.

Yeah, I only do jedi missions for the fun, so prefer to do it sneaky. The 2 funniest jedi kills Ive made are the following:

Jedi vs jedi duel, one is my target, Im watching, and my jedi incaps, I walk up to him, and deathblow. Get a few hate tells, and the people who were watching of my faction found it funny as hell

Other story: Jedi at guildwar,me busy fighting him, seems kinda tough to beat, suddenly a few players arrive, incap him, run off, I get the DB....Hate tells

Don't you just love the hate tells? Hate tells always means a job well done, remember that it doesnt matter how you do the job, as long as you get your target dead

I've killed a few jedi that were running around overt and got in a heated battle. It is easy money. I had an opportunity and I took it. They can send me hate tells and call me a nooballthey want. I'm not the one walking around Theed overt all the time.Theyhad it coming in myopinion. Be more careful.

The best kill I got was fooling my mark and his buddies to join a gurk group with me. He knew I was a bounty hunter and made me promise to not kill any of his jedi friends in the group. Heh. Fair enough. He was alreadyparanoidand was checking his radar every 5 seconds. He went off about how much he hated bounty hunters and just ranted a while. He would walk up and hit each gurk once andthen stop attacking. I figured my surprise attack wasn't going to work, and he'd soon be on to me. However, our nextlairwe went to, he pulled massive aggro by accident. He gets incapped andI apply the death blow. I wasinstantly kicked from the group and received a bunch of tells heavilycontaining the F word.

Being a bounty hunter shouldn't be about being honorable or running in guns blazing. The methodical method isso much more rewarding.

Well you didn't break your oath ? You didn't kill any of his friends ?

So why the hate tells ?
