Thread: NPC Marks Spawning in Water

if you see from your map that the mark has spawned in a lake do not approach within 500m. next time droid updates the position he should spawn out of the lake on land, failing that wait until your droid loses track and launches another. once you approach within a certain distance (i think its 500m) the mob will stop moving about and if he is in deep water you will get the mission incomplete.
when i notice a target has spawned in a big body of water from my map i just stop immediately wherever i am and wait for him to move.
there is another thread somewhere with much more detail on it somewhere on the BH forums

QFE. This has been around forever and will likely never change.
I know this has been around forever (Mastered BH in late '03) but not near as often.
Some planets have roughly 5-10% of the available playing surface covered with water.
Why does it seem that marks will undoubtly appear where there is water?

Well, they have to have something to wash down the Jar of Foraged Bugs.
