Just wanted to share this short story. I went and got a NPC mission out of Dearic, went outside the city by the parking garage, launched my probe droid, and headed back to Dearic.But it seems my mark had spawned right in front of the parking garage, which aggroed me while i flew past. At first I thought it was a Chunker punk, but as soon as I tabbed I see Lvl 82 17k HAM, I think. Got a decent 3 Mod CA, accuracy/defense/accuracy. Total time for hunt, 3 minutes maybe 
To make up for this my next two missions were at least a 5k ride on Dath

I thought we got first strike for any bounty, npc or jedi. So how would this guy agro you?

Thats what I thought too. My first mission tonight was white conned, but I sat there for a minute and the ? appeared over its head then it conned red. So I guess if you get close enough they aggro.

hmmm I gues I'll have to stop equipping my armor and eating my foods standing right in fornt of my marks while sticking mytongue out at them. lol

see this is the exact reason every time i get a bounty on endor or dath i abort it

I think I have that one beat. Got the mission in Kaadara, launched the probe and found out he was on Dathomir. Based on my track record in marks being near the Science Outpost, I decided to land there, just on a hunch.
Well, the hunch paid off; the mark spawned in behind me, about 2 meters away. Needless to say, I was very surprised..and apparently he was as well, because he didn't aggro until I started shooting.

If you are combatant they will agro on you,it helps if they are white con.I had a mission yesterday that had me track it then said target was not on planet,I then checked to make sure I did grab a npc.I luanched another porbe said it was on a diffrent planet went there launched a seeker said it was in a starport couldnt find it for the life of me and gave up.
