Thread: Easy way to get Invest Xp?

Ive been having a hell of a pain grinding up the investigation tree (havent even gotten that far) and i was wondering about something.
a long time ago i heard about something involved with base takedown giving good investigation xp, and i was wondering, is this true? and if so, what aspect to the takedown gives the xp?

when you successfully JAM a rival faction base and complete a take over you get 1k in BH xp, but the best way to go about BH xp is don't train it till you cap. then train invest 1 and 2 and you'll have a good portion of invest 3 done before you have to spend a credit on droids. Doing mission marks that are on the same planet and don't require droids is the best way to go about it, unless things changed since when I made it so long ago

Are you using Inspiration buffs? Base slicing gives xp, but you not only need a big group, you are only slicing at a rate of about 1 base per half hour or so, depending on the group. You may still be better off running missions.

aww, if only i knew to cap before i got invest 1, hehe... at least i can cap out on level 2
as for base sliceing... i need to see how well my guild is involved in it

10K BH exp before you have to turn in to gain boxes. As far as slicing bases, you don't need a group. I took note as I came accross NPC bases. Then once day I would go from base to base and do nothing but slice the terminals. You can grind it out rather fast this way. Getting past the first two boxes is the pain
