Like the other one said. Whatever you like better.

The rifles will do more damage but the Carbine will fire faster giving you mre shots per sec. Rifles can hit at a longer range but I have never known a target to just sit there and not close the gap to do damage back.

Whenever fanning the flames of conquest, Remember that you to can be burned.

Rangers lead the way.

A Ranger is a more elite soldier who arrives at the cutting edge of battle by land, sea, or air. I accept the fact that as a Ranger my country expects me to move further, faster and fight harder than any other soldier.

unless you are a wookie.... I say carbs... here's why....

- better sustained damage output (leg shot is higher damage than head shot, go figure)

- faster running (easier to kite when you use KD/Snare)

- better melee def

- best ranged kd

- don't get to wear recon armor, butPowers is kinetic/electric

Here's why if you are a wookie...

- High damage KINETIC weapon... the bowcaster

(since most jedi wear PSGs, kinetic weapons will hit harder than ranged.)

So if you are a wook, you can get a higher damage outpust by picking up a bowcaster.
