Thread: My first 225k kill

Last night I stalked a 225k level Jedi on kashykk for a while watching him take out BH after BH (cover is a sweet skill for doing this). I was grouped with other BH but they decided not to come cuz they were busy so I just watched him for a while. Then he left and went into space so I was about to go get a new mark and group hunt with my BH friends, well one of them said in group chat that they just saw my mark in eisly so i jumped ther before dropping his mission and sure enough he was just loitering outside the starport in a large crowd (maybe he likes visibility lol). I ran outside and opened up on him. He paniced and started to run. I bet he could not even target me since there were so many people around. He fell pretty quickly and never healed once. I was shaking cuz I had just killed a 225k jedi. I will display my bone helmit proudly lol. I also got my traditional screen shot too.
Here is the sucky thing, since i was grouped I only got 75k for it lol. The rest of the group was on corellia and the rest of the moeny went to waste lol. That irritated me but still I soloed my first 225k jedi

With the new pub 19 coming out, if you get attack, you will auto-target what is attacking you, (UI fix) - do don't rely on crowds for cover.

thats good to know. Thats going to ruin ourelement of surprise but oh well, I hate when i get attacked and have no clue where its coming from so its only fair. I wonder what that will do if the jedi is group ganked. I wonder if it will cycle through targets or just stay on the first attacker hmmmm.

i hope so cuz that would suck if you were taking on a mob and it just kept cycling lol. Knowing the devs though it will cycle for like a week before they figure out that they messed up lol

you didnt solo him, you got lucky cause im sure he was lagged to hell and thats why he didnt heal

He attacked him and beat him with nobody else's help. It's called "soloing". lol

he didn't try to heal when i watched him take on other BH on kashyyk either. Don't rain on my parade lol

Way to go!!!... btw.. when in cover can you be seen at all? or does just your Ham and name bar go away????
what server are you on anyway.. i head kash is a huge jedi hideout from ppl being hunted..

as long as you are away from npc's and players by like 60 meters or something like that you totally dissapear from the game basically. launching droids will break your cover though. Its a sweet skill. I had a jedi house hide when i go there once so i sped of, went prone and covered then crawled back (though really slowly) and waited. 5 min later he came out and i nailed him again lol. He eventually got pissed and buffed and whipped out a health crystal thing and whooped my ass lol.

So you have to be under cover (tree, bush etc) to use cover, but you can move out of it and still be invisible? good 2 know

when in cover u cant be seen at all in any way. unless someone comes within 20m of u
