I dont know what temp should be,I had an idea like mbh,m pistoleer,cm 4/0/0/0,but im scared that temp dosent do enough dmg to keep up with a jedi's heal,my style of play is to dmg hard, heal up my health as my action regrows, then attack again,i use this dueling non jedi, with jedi I try to keep as far as possible from there saber range.Well anyways I need some advice on what kind of temp I should make and the tactics of that temp, cuz right now this bh is having some trouble and needs some advice,ty.

Lol, just pick MBH with carbineer, rifleman or pistoleer, you always own padawans with that and once you done that start thinking of knights hehe

I'd go rifles if you like staying far from the jedi

root is nice, but if you are going to just depend on that you might be in trouble... there are plenty of rumors that root is going to be changed soon (possibly 30 second timer), making it less usefull... also against a jedi defender, it's actually pretty common for a root to miss your target leaving you in their range

That's a tricky play style to have.

I usually consider healing to be a defensive ability, as well as rooting specials.

Whereas I consider High-damage attacks to be offensive.

Having the best of both worlds is pretty tough, post-CU. Usually, you'll have to sacrifice some of one thing to have another.

I would suggest asking yourself "If I had to lose something, would it be offense or defense?"

There are two schools of thought (in my opinion). Either try to outlast a Jedi (through healing and defense) and wipe out their force pool. Or, hit hard and fast, hoping to keep the Jedi on the defensive through the fight.

Being able to do both, though? That's a pretty tall order. Keeping out of Saber range is tough, considering Saber throw. You'll probably need a Long range carb or a Rifle to pull that off. Picking up any root special, like Stopping Shot, would help as well.

My personal template is geared towards Carbines. I have no medical skills, and I try to do such a vicious amount of damage that the Jedi will be burning through their force trying to stay alive. Kinda a "balls to the wall" fighting style. Of course, I would lose more often than win.But when I lose, the Jedi is limping away, not walking away, and they'll remember it.

Try to focus your idea of what you want a bit more. It's nigh impossible to be good at everything. The more specialized that you are, the better your style will be.
