Bounty Hunter Archive

I play on Valcyn which is a kinda small (actually the smallest I think) server. On top of that I play in the morning early afternoon times. So today I could not find any jedi in my range (30k-150k) that were online and not on Kash. Finally I find one worth 85k so I take it, woot Tat (I love when they are on tat, that is my home world).

I track him to a known jedi grind city and pinpoint him to outside the city. I find him with his group and launch my attack. The jedi does not attack back and I root him just as he was running to his house and then he warped into his house (not saying he exploited, there was prolly a lag issue here). So I leave and hang out in the area. He logs off. I know this trick so I head to my city less than 3k away and start to take care of some stuff. I add him back on my friends list and keep an eye on it. About 30 minutes he comes back on. I launch my droid and head back to the area.

Target not on this planet. So I launch my other droid and head to my guild hall to see if I can pick up my armor yet, nope still bugged ggggrrrrr lol. He is on Lok (another huge jedi grinding place) so I head there. He is afk in a cantina that I can't get in. So I do some shopping near by. About 30 minutes go by and he is still not moving. Gotta love Lok though, one way in and one way out. I head to the starport and sit there talking to the passer bys and taking care of some guild stuff via email. I am running my target macro.

I get all my stuff done and am about to leave. Then he pops up and there he is. No where to run and hide this time. I wait for the attack delay to go away and for him to make any kind of movement. He takes a step forward and stops I launch my attack which includes a paralize a few other CM things then KD and do my power shots. Half way through my attacks he equips his LS (which was not equiped before) but it is too late. I get the kill (I think I had his mission for about 2 hours total, it was a sweet feeling kill). Then I get the tells.

/jedi tells you: I just want to thank you for killing me when I walked away from my computer, and for keeping my mission for that long.

I told him that I will rez him if he wanted, but I guess they dont lose xp on cloning now so he got mad and sent some more tells lol. It was great though cause there was a bunch of people at the star port that kept walking by and looking at him and I would wave to then and say nothing to see here lol. Then I left.

i chased one to a home today as well, and caught him leaving a few minutes later, at the starport i original found him at.

As a fellow Valcyn BH I know what you mean about Lok. Though I don't have the patience to wait that long so I commend you on your stick-to-itivness. Congrats !!

I thought so too but guess not. I have also seen other odd number non masters like 121k 117k ect ect. Not sure whats up, I dont care though now that mls is not what it was I dont fear masters of anything. I am beginning to really get the ins and outs of my prof and can hang in there pretty good. Wait till they are nerfed and it is game time. Does "win by attrition" mean anything to anyone? That is my motto.
