What type of damage on the weapon against Jedi ? Energy or Kinetic ?
What type of armor to wear for MP/MBH ? What damage does a lightsabre give ?

lightsaber is energy
where faction recon armour has very good energy defence

1. Jedi have innate armor. Same stats on all resist. If they use a PSG you could be better of with anything else than energy. On the other hand: A PSG as it is now only works for the first few shots... Its your choice.
2. LS do energy and some elemental (when fixed). Since elemental-resist doesnt change with the kind of armor you could use whatever armor has most in Energy. But: Powers does Kinetic and/or electric damage...
So, unless you know the template and/or equipement: Just take your best stuff.
(note: In case you dont know, LS do energy but PSG will only protect against ranged-energy damage)
