Thread: Solo BH How High of a Mark?

Prior to this last patch, I took missions 200kish and below. I assumed based on posts on the forums that a solo bh should not be able to stand up to a full templated jedi. Well, after this patch, I've seen numerous posts of people who can take down full templated jedi and have heard this happened prior to this publish as well. Based on this, I changed my template to include 4000 CM. However, I don't really think it's my style as I really miss the root.
I'm interested in knowing how many of you can take on full templates 1-on-1 and are successful at it. And, I'm not talking about stalking and waiting until they're low on health or force. (For the record, I think that's the way it should be - you should have to stalk a full temp and wait until they are weak for a chance to win.)
I guess I'm trying to find out what I should be capable of.
Jedi, please feel free to post your experiences as well.

pre-patch, i was standing toe to toe with MLS/MDefenders, post patch i havent fought em, but im pretty sure with higher damage for sabers i would be alot less likely to win

the day before Publish 19 I killed 3 full template and lost to one. Jedi vary. There aremany that can be taken down solo, but there are always a few where you need like four bounty hunters.

It really depends on the jedi, how well they know their character, how prepared they are, how prepared you are, etc, etc. I have been able to take down some higher level padawans, and team up for knights, but I believe in guarantees, so I don't try to solo them unless it is a friendly guild mate or something.

should be able lto kill anyone, just catch them at teh right moment

I totally agree with this statement and I think a full templated jedi should only be able to be killed when you catch them at the right moment. I guess I'mjust trying to gauge how high of a level i'm suppose to go after. For example, 1v1 with no element of surprise, should I be able to take down a 200k mark. Granted it depends on the person controlling the jedi, but in general. As a solo BH should I be able to take out a full template jedi without waiting for when they are weak?
