I went neutral after awhile. Now unless they're a guildie, take aim. Stinks to lose all that rank and work. Didn't like losing my "extra" FP either. Figured I could go back if I wanted. Not so.

You all watched the movies, right? You know, where the Emperor and Vader up and declared jedi enemies of the empire and hunted them all down mercilessly? They didn't ask, "is this Jedi loyal to the Empire", and if he was, walk away and start looking for another.

This is Star Wars. Jedi are anathema, hunted like animals by the scum of the universe, at the behest of Vader and Palpatine themselves. Embrace it, immerse yourself in it.

I guess I'm more of a "dirty" bounty hunter. I'll hunt my own faction, I'll kill piddling 40k jedi , kill em while they're AFK and even kill em while they're in combat with NPC's and junk. I think it's okay for me to hunt same faction, due to the fact that I have a super crappy computer so it takes a while to load in and out of planets/cities, then you factor in who's in a house, who's in space, who's on kashyyyk (when I don't feel like going instance to instance) and all the jazz. The last thing that would matter to me after all of that is faction. It's entirely up to you though. Apparently jedi think it's wrong to hunt same faction because they'll somehow help you in the future. I don't really big pvp that much and I don't hunt with jedi, so their help is worthless to me. I personally don't like to kill friends guildmates, or old guildies.

The dirties thing I've ever done as a bh, was when I had a mark and he force ran into a house. He came out on the condition that he'll fight me to incap, and pay me 150k if I incap him but not DB him. He was only worth 125k. By this time the kid had completely pissed me off by standing in his house taunting, saying he's king sh1t and all that. So he comes out, we fight and I incap him. He gets up, pays me and I crit incap then db him for the mission money. I'm a dirty sob but I love it.

Regardless of the faction, Jedis and Dark Jedis are all force users, stinking force users and the only good force user is a DEAD force user.

I say kill 'em all, let the midichlorians sort 'em out.

I see too many Imperials killing Imperial jedi wantonly (sp.?) with no regards for the sides. I respect those whom are on my team, I think it should be made a little easier for me to do that.

This is how you can tell a real bounty hunter from a simple respec thug. They simply do not want to drop their mission once they realize that their mark is the same faction, so they make up stupid excuses why it is "ok". People are forgeting that GCW even exists. Better guilds will kick your arse out for hunting your own faction...

I've been a BH since I started playing, and I hunt any and all factions. If you have a bounty on your head, you've done something wrong. I'm not a hitman, I'm not a cold-blooded killer, I'm a private detective who's brought in to bring down the big dangers of the galaxy when the Law's hands are tied. I don't scam my marks for credits, I don't harass them, but I don't give them a break either. Honor is for after the job is done.

Back before the CU I hunted a guy all over Dathomir. Finally got to him, and I didn't give him a heads up, or a bow, or a how-do-you-do. I took him down while his force was low and he had 4 rancors after him. After I DB'd him, I stayed to clean up the rancors so he could rez safely with his Hero Ring, and had a nice chat with him afterwards. I would have killed him regardless of faction, but I'm not going to leave him to take more of an XP hit just because.

Just because a Bounty Hunter is merciless doesn't mean they're without honor. It means they are honoring their job, and the safety of the galaxy by bringing down a dangerous criminal. It's no different from real-life bounty hunters, though killing usually isn't on the plate in RL.

I'm a respec thug. (if you want to know a big secret though, every single player is now a respec something.)

Any Jedi who says they support the Empire is a liar. They do not serve the Emperor, they serve the Force.By serving the force, they are an enemy of the Empire and therefore, my enemy.

one could argue that these "real bounty hunters" you speak of are just making up stupid excusesfor why it is not ok to hunt your own faction. There is room for all of us to play as we like.

GCW doesnt exist anymore because of Jedi.

If GCW existed there wouldnt be half as many bounty hunters.

I will hunt any faction and at the minute I show up on radar as imperial. Mainly because many moons ago I dabbled and cba to get rid of the technical allegiance at a recruiter.

All the excuses being made by either kind of bounty hunter only distract people from the fact that SOE screwed up by making Jedi factional instead of light/dark.
