Thread: Almost to MBH, the old fashioned way.

It's a long, hard grind to get inves. up to the 4th box. I'm almost there. The other boxes are hard, but nothing compared to Inves. I've never hunted Jedi before, but I'm soo looking forward to it. The new system means that it's kinda outa my hands as to who I get, and I'll get killed alot till I get the experience of the fight under my belt, I know.
I did this the hard way for a reason. I've heard there are so many Respec MBH's out there, I've heard em cry, I've heard em whine, and I've heard em beg. I will not be one of those. Yes, I'm also workin on the Jedi Village, but till I get that done ( and I'm in no hurry), I'm gonna play the character I've got and have fun. I'll take whatever Imperial comes up on the terminals first. I'll hunt him ( if he's online) and I'll fight him, win or lose.
Any further advise from the "Old School?"

so you didn't use vehicles, mounts or player city shuttleports and you waited 10 minutes for each shuttle? (not to mention you now get a lot more invest xps per npc mission)

thats the old fashioned way for me, its the hard way. doing mission is the normal way, at least for me 
no flaming or so but thats just my opinion

Good Job jax, always good ot have another MBH in the fold.
You don't have to neccessarily lose at first , I started out of the box 11-0 when I started ot hunt jedi(including three 220K+)and have been very methodicalwith when and where I attack (leads to many dropped missions but it is just my style).

Ignore the 'hardcore' BH that think they're cool because they grew up on a different system. They just want attention.
Congrats, man. However, Jedi will still call you a respec BH, no matter what.

HEY look here ya little Snot I walked to my marks Cross servers through the Snow Uphill only to find my mark was in a Tree. Then walked All the way back through the Snow Uphill to the terms to get another. So Yes I am COOL!
Extreme yes. But Alot of us did it Old Old School. And INV is still a pain in the Butt. so I say Congrats. Makes ya feel good to finally make it after thinking the light at the end was not there.

Thinking back to when I did mine, I actually enjoyed it, it took for freekin ever but was such a sense of accomplishment afterwards. I did go through 4 keyboards and twice and many mouse during that grind though, silly bugged missions 
I wore that title with so much pride, valued it more then either of my "Jedi Knight" titles. Those were the glory days.
Not taking a dig at recent/respec or whatever Bounty Hunters, just being a nostalgic old git.

Lol, nice. I wish I could have been playing back then. I would have, but I was saving up to buy a new computer. Why? To play SWG
. I just don't see the point in making fun of /respec BH, and then turning around and making fun of newb BH that actually *DID* the grind.

Saving for a computer. I did it on a texas instrument i made from straw and mud. And I was darn glad to have that. LOL.

I really appreciate the comments and encouragement from most of you. As for what Jedi say or think? I care about as much what "they" say as the piece of steak on my plate. When I'm playin my BH, they are prey, nothing more.

Oh, don't get me wrong !! I love the steak, but I couldn't care less what it thinks about me.
