Thread: my first jedi hunt with the new system didn't go to well

so today i decided to get my MBH Mcarb pistols x4x4 toon out hunting evil jedi under the new system (only just got back from a computer problem) and so far it isn't good
firstly it took 9 attempts to actually find a jedi that was online (I wasn't to fussed but when u want a quick hunt before work it takes the biscuit).
i get my droid back and hes on Dathomir, so i travel 4k from the science outpost which took its sweet ass time and started my attack on him, i didn't do to well due to noobism on my half and not eating my foods and not getting root off quick enough, i ended up dying (again i dont mind my fault). being the friendly guy i am i say good fight and ask what his template was (every shot bar i think 5 got through and they were super weak (adv critical)) and he was a MDEF MLS so basicly a complete jedi and a good one at that. So to sum up i sucked.
Now you may be wondering why i bought this up as im sure this has happened to a few people, well ill tell you. This new no name system = good idea stops ganking and in turn makes BH Vs. Jedi battles a more fair event i.e pretty much always one on one
new no guild line all jedi no mattter what ability are same price system = bad idea i for one liked the old way of having the pay out based on the SP spent so if u wanted a quick buck u take a 150k mission or lower and if u wanted a challange you take a 200k+ one. this new system give u no idea what your going to be up against so it makes hunting very sketchy.
Im not sure if im the only one with this opinion its just surely as a BH we should be given more facts about the jedi ie how good SP commited wise they are

And your one of those Jedi that Cant be helpful. But can troll and Make Gank Squads seem like a good idea after all.
Same temp. No luck with full temp jedi. But have alot of fun in the Hunt of them. Dathomir though Weird wonder why they were there.

i can actually, but like i said made a few noobish errors and a MLS MDef isa uberly good defensive template with pretty good attacking power to
i also forgot to mention i was wearing really crappy armour but only realised about 1k away from the target
and in answer to why he was on dath, he was helping a guild mate kill sith for a village quest i believe

Just think of all the things that went wrong and try to reverse it next time. I suck at PvP yet I am a 11-0 , I was an MBH before but never hunted Jedi (this was an alt toon) I started about 3 weeks ago and basically i don't attack unless :
1. I have complete surprise
2. I am able to frontload a lot of damage
3. Jedi is pre occupied or unprepared (at a terminal, talking to freinds, attacking MOBs, force is down etc. etc)
So think about it, a jedi might be a attacking MOBs but he is fully buffed and has plenty fo force, even though #1 and #2 are covered #3 would not be and I would call off attack and either drop or wait for a better time. If you follow strict engagement rules you will have success, I prove it.
I am an MBH/MCH and I only take neutron pixie and valarian brandy, my armor is so so (although I have a krayt laser rifle, sliced and with elite power up), I just wait for the right time and success follows. The kills include a 223K, 226K and a 225K (before pub 20) and i have posted screens in another thread.
