I read in a post earlier where someone said whether or not he should go for more healing or sacrifice some healing and get stopping shot for root as it's viable in PVP.
Here is base template:
MBH, MCarbs
Along with this temp, would it be better to go CM 4000 and what can I heal myself for with that. Or could I go with just Medic 0200 and Pistols 0003 for not only Improved Stopping Shot, but also an additional +30 to ranged and +30 to melee defenses.
It's a tough decision and I know it depends on the situation, but if you were to put money on it to beat a fully templated Jedi or Jedi padawan, or just PVP in general which template would you probably use. I want to be able to heal myself enough to handle jedi's, but I've heard root is very viable in pvp versus Jedi. What do you think?
MBH, MCarbs, CM 4000
or
MBH, MCarbs, Medic 0200, Pistols 0003
How much healing would I be able to do with CM 4000 versus Medic 0200 with some kind of healing efficiency clothing?
Can someone please advise from their experiences?

I use the pistols xxx3 and it is good in group pvp but leaves me lacking in a 1 on 1 match withCM or Jedi I find they can always out heal my damage. The stim d are good only every 60 seconds (30 with ruby bliel). However in pve root offers control over multiple aggro in group or solo situations. So it depends on your play style and what you plan to do. Try both they are easy to grind and will give you a good perspective.

Root is overrated. Why limit yourself for an attack that you'll probably only be able to use once per fight. Kiting isn't going to work on all Jedi. Healing yourself does.

Great advice...thanks alot.
For those of you that use Carbines, any Jedi killing tactics that you could maybe shoot my way? I know every situation calls for something different, but is there a general guideline that you guys use?
Ex: When you use carbines and hunt your mark, what attacks/specials do you open up with (and which ones do you use in order) to attack a jedi. Like do you START with a KD, followed by a leg shot, then something else. What do you generally use first and throughout your attack?
Thanks again guys.

Many prefer to save their KD for when the Jedi's action gets low because KD recover takes a big chunk of your action pool. For that matter, so does the KD attack, so use it wisely.
