Thread: Identify bug?

Im new to master bh but i tried to track down a jedi for the fun of it i hate pvp so i wouldnt kill him/her but i launched 5-6 seekers with the identify order but they would never return the jedi's name is it/am i bugged?

just thought i would make sure...are you on the same planet as they are?

From my experience you need to be on the same planet and you must be within 1000m of the mark to use identify. Its lame cuz most of the time they know you are coming when you are within 1000m. They will have the radar out to 1028 and see you. I always go to within 1000m and try and make it look like i'm just flyinng by 1000m away once i get my name. then i track for about 15 to 20 min to make him think he's safe then i strike.

It's also my experience that radar doesn't pick up beyond 256 meters, at most. I track to within 300 meters then use the overhead map to see where the Jedi is. The map seems to go about 325 meters out on the diagonal.
