Just to let you know my temp is: MBH, MCarb, CM 4000. My weapon is an Elite Carbine 430-1063, 1.25 modified speed, 53 SAC (with pup). My armor is a full suit of RIS enhanced with 6552 energy resist. I use a 2100 energy PSG as well. Foods I use are blob candy, spice tea, kanali wafers, snow cakes, deuterium pyro, booster blue, and ruby bliel. Occasionally if I'm in trouble and have room left in my belly I'll pop a steak but not usually.

1st mission:Tracked jedionLok, biked to his location and he was showing "LD", so I waited for a few minutes to see if he would come back. After about 3minutes I was about to get back on my bike and drive away when he logs back on and says "got my mission eh? bring it!" but I noticed he had no buffs or any foods in him. I KD'd, Leg, Crit, Bleed, Leg, Crit, Incap, DB. Over. He said "CHEATER! I was LD!" I didn't even reply and collected the 225k bounty and drove off.

2nd mission: Kashyyk

3rd mission: Kashyyk

4th mission: Tracked jedi to Dantooine to some player city and noticed he was sparring with his guildies. I watched him for about 10-15 minutes and his health never really went down. He had full buffs on and food, etc and one of his guildies noticed me about 5 minutes later and I wasn't about to start attacking when the situation didn't benefit me in any way so I aborted the mission. However I ended up talking with him and dueling with him and it was alot of fun but it went on forever. He said he still had alot of force left and my mind and action pools were still above 75% easy. I guess if we had kept on going I would have won but he tells me that eventually my action/mind regen food would have wore out then he would have just force sap'd me and it would have been all over. Between my healing and stim d's there was never really any threat but I don't think I was posing any real threat to him either. He was full temp with MLS/MDef and healing I believe.

5th mission: Kashyyk

6th mission: Kashyyk

My question is mainly with the 4th mission. Since I'm still pretty new to fighting jediI was curious about a few things.

1 - Would a fight like this basically just volley back n forth until someone just runs out of mind/action? Which bar on a jedi shows his force? The middle one?

2 - Can I do anything else to the jedi to get an advantage other than just KD, Leg shot, Crit, Bleed, Dizzy/Stun, Blind ....rinse and repeat? Anyone thats a MBH with Master Carbs have any tactics they use?

Thanks in advance!

you cant see a jedi force bar - it appears below the mind bar for the jedi ONLY to see himself

The only real way for a ranged specialist/CM dabbler to beat a jedi is to either overpower him/her in the first few seonds of the fight, or wear them out of force. For the record, your shield is going to be more or less worthless against the 80% of jedi that use some level of lightsaber skill. (It's a livesaver if the mark is powers, though.)

If the fight drags on, all you can do is keep doing damage, conserve your action and mind as much as you can, and try to keep him healing. If he's able to rely wholly on force infusion, you need to break off and run, as you will NEVER run him out of mind or force. It's usually best to bolt and come back another time - you want to fight on your terms, not the Jedi's.

correct - PSG only mitigate ranged energy weapon damage - vs powers a PSG is debateable in its usefulness too - lots of kinetic/electricity in there and choak just goes right through everything...

Excellent! What is your current template? Did you keep any carbine skills?
