Thread: Not doing enough damage

of heat damage). Keno's armour absorbed 436 points out of 936
possible points of damage.
Heavy Lightning Rifle and hits for 367 points (356 points of
energy damage and 11 points of electrical damage). Jedi's
armour absobed 969 points of out 1336 possible points of
damage.

So as you can see my possible damage is much higher but I do less actual damage than them. There armour absorbs a ridiculous amount of damage. I have tried to spare no expense when it comes to equipment. My weapon is Krayted Lighting Rifle, 659-1231 damage (puped and sliced), 1.79 modified speed, 551.8 modified DPS. My armour is 8k energy with 100% slices all around. So what am I doing wrong? I can't seem to make any head way.
One thing is range. If they get up close and personal switch to a different weapon, Rifles are good and infact the most damaging weapon (other than a pre-cu premium pearl saber) in the game. However the rifle is limited in the fact that it is slower and there is actually a - (negative) to the gun when the target is to close.
Equipment is not the only thing. there are buffs you have to take into account. foods and spices that will enable you to move faster and mitigate more damage.
I have heard people talk about this and that it would be implemented but I haven't seen where it has been implemented. Pre-CU this was the case when you could see your accuracy modifier.
