Great Story. Not sure who the BH is, but he's twisted and I love it.

Can some1 clicky this.....

So this is a little story that happened to me over the past few days.

This will let you know two things

1: If a good BH has your bounty it really is only a matter of time.

2: Presently jedi are underpowered.

So the details,
I'm a Paddie on Scylla, I'm lvl 61 I have +cloak+, aura, sabers 0201, improved healing and channel

So about three days ago this BH sent me a tell, "imp or reb?" ....erm Usually when i get this I think repsec BH and say what i feel like at the time or ignore him. I was grinding out in dant and about 5 min later my "dot" comes....I stop whacking the bol run 20m and cloak.....I was lucky this guys approach was very very fast but i still got there in time.

I walk to my safe house 500m away and run my macro which keeps me cloaked and channeling...he says the same old junk...but there is a certainty to it that i have'nt heard before.......its not I'm going to fight you...its i'm going to kill you....I leave the macro running and leave it running for like 4 hours .....i come back and he's still there but seems like he's afk too. I get ready....stop the macro and run past him while cloaked.....he immediately gets up and follows me....he was sitting. he starts telling me that i really should'nt run from him etc and just take my beating...lol. I offer the whole come back tomorrow and/or come back in three weeks and i won't run. He does'nt buy it...i run half way across dant to the pirate outpost. He follows me...I get a guildie to bring me up into space and i fly off to wook world where i generate a ship of my own and set my trap...
I go towards the mydrill caves and just as you enter the forest throught that funky door i wait for the BH to turn up. After 20 min he comes...I did some /tells saying you ain't gonna get me in the caves etc etc. while he loads into the forrest i go through the door to the main village again. I run hop on my ship and run away. It took 5 hours to lose him.

I find out that he's dropped my mission and i continue to grind. He sends me a tell that he will come for me sometime...ya ya same old same old.

Then today happens

I was fighting with a grp of dewies...there were 5 other people in the group. I saw a dot but had just hit my attack button. there was about a second...maybe a second and half.

He made a movie out of it, sent me the link. I checked the combat log. nobody in my group hit the dewie more than once from his first shot(root) hit me and his fourth(inc) shot hit me.

I got owned. And I have come to say that

A) This dude is a great BH....Persistant, Deadly...ruthless...
B) jedi are underpowered. I got inc'd in less than 1.5 sec

I had aura up (def 0020) and was wearing a psg 1921. I think he damaged me for about 2k dmg. If i had 3k health i might have lasted another second

anyways here is the movie.....its worth the look...its funny....

I analyzed this very carefully and was watching the cooldown timers and what the bh hit.

It appears that the bh actually got 2 shots off, the root and one critical shot.
The mob did the other damage it appears.

Secondly, i dont think you were grouped with a level 80 player. A level 62 has a extreme damage penalty to a level 80 player in a 1 vs 1 if the level 2 player is not grouped with a level 80 player. The second reason i dont believe you were grouped with a level 80 player is beucase in most cases a level 62 player would not be going up against a level 80 mob with just 2 people expecially another grinding jedi.

Lets look at this from an NPC perspective. Can a level 80 player quickly kill an level 62 NPC that is being attacked by another NPC of the same level? Yes. Does this mean that a level 80 NPC is underpowered against a level 80 player? No.

No the argument that you are making is that a level 62 jedi who is also under attack by a mob and a level 80 player is underpowered if they cannot survive the attack, you gofurther to premise that all jedi are underpowered.

This would like saying thatif a level 62 rifleman dieswhile being attacked by both a mob and a level 80 jedi that all riflemen are underpowered.

You are exploiting the level system to say all jedi are underpowered when the fact is the BH has 18 levels over you. Try soloing a level 98 mob as a level 80 and see how that goes. The ONLY people who can do that are Jedi. So dont tell me they are underpowered.

No, no, no...the BH did MOST of the damage. The Jedi did have ANYTHING running. Looks like a set up for an argument for me. Aura was NOT up or macroed....the PSG can be debated. More then anything, let me shoot ANY melee player from that distance, with no armor, and no aura WITH Bols attacking, and you will get the same result.

It's hard to tell from the "choppy" video AND the lag in the game. However, from my experience, the FIRST damage the Jedi takes is from stopping shot, the second was from a Bol, the 3rd was from Adv Crit (or maybe leg shot, as I don't know the BHs template), the last damage COULD have been from either the BH (torso shot, body shot, or maybe even a KD). As it incapps the Jedi, it is too hard to tell exactly how much damage was done. I'm thinking it was BH though, as you see the "firing effects" as the BH runs up the hill. The shot was a LAG shot, as it was fired BEFORE the BH dropped into a LOS.

Bottom line....if you DON'T use the specials your given...of course your going to get owned.

UPON FURTHER review....the BH only used Stopping shot AND Adv Crit (or maybe just Critical Shot). You can see this by watching the BH toolbar and seeing whats' executed and what's not. The BH only fired twice...yet the Jedi took damage 4 times.....two of them HAD to have been Bol.

If you have Aura...use it and this might not have happened. This Jedi had nothing running, no foods, no drinks, no spice....NO CHANCE!

Damage modifiers are disabled in PvP. Level difference and the damage modifiers granted from level difference are only working in PvE. A level 54 Master Rifles will hit another player as hard as a level 80 Master Rifles / Master Doc given the same rifle.

Yes he will hit just as hard but he won't be anywhere near as accurate nor as fast ,less specials, less defense, plus his health is much lower starting out. Anyone crazy enough to take on a player more than 10 levels above himself is gonna lose and he shouldn't complain about it.

I don't see how this is a good read and I'm not sure what the point is supposed to be.If your jedi was a level 80 you would have mopped the floor with him.

Don't be so quick to dismiss level differences in pvp. Some of the most powerful pvp templates are not CL80.

He will have the _same_ rifle skills, because Doc as the second prof to get up to level 80 does not grant any offensive rifle modifiers, only ranged defense, which is of no concern for attacking. That is why I chose the Master Rifles / Master Doc example. The lvl 54 Master Rifles is as good with a rifle as a lvl 80 Master Rifles / Master Doc in PvP, neglecting very few ranged defense granted from the doc part. Read the whole post before making comments.

Yeah...but there are 78...that's NOT 10 levels different.

My bad. Your right a master doc/Master rifle is the same offensively.I wasn't just commenting to what you said but to the original poster and I still stand by that statement.

Yeah...but there are 78...that's NOT 10 levels different.

Actually I have seen quite a few excellent PVP templates that are lower than CL 78 and no not by 1 or 2 levels. Granted they are geared for PVP and not PVE but then that is what some some people play the game for.
