I am sorry I know I do not know my shots very well. Do we have a reanged attack in rifles, carbines, pistols, or BH that confers a dazed state? I just noticed that there is no healing of any type when someone is dazed. I would like to capitalize on this and find out how to daze an opponent. Will take a jedi from reduced healing to no healing what so ever while dazed. Since this is mainly how they manage to beat us out I think finding out this shot very important. I looked on the proff calculator I use and see stunned and dizzy everywhere but have seen no dazed in any ranged description.

So far Smuggler's concussion shot = daze and breaks on attack.

mez (mesmerize) shots are now referred to as 'daze' i guess, so swg wont be TOO much like WoW.

afaik smuggler is the only one that gets one - concussion shot.

melee and might and i know jedi get one.

mez is where the opponent may not move or use specials, and breaks on damage (including DoT)

daze is where the opponent may continue moving, but may not use specials, and also breaks on damage (including DoT)

I believe the daze lasts a bit longer (assuming no damage is taken) to make up for the slight difference in the 'power' of the specials.

tactic: stun, then daze or mez if you are low on health, allowing you to heal while the opponent (do to stun) is unable to regenerate, then restart your engagement with an advantage. (make sure you turn your auto-attacks off before beggining this combo)

So stun now = no action regen?

Panic shot also has a daze effect. But unlike Concussion shot, there is no root with it, and it lasts for only a very short period of time.
